Aaron Sahota
Aaron is a Trainee Solicitor at the London office of Vinson & Elkins, a US-based firm specializing in energy-related work, and the London office having strong departments in both Corporate and Complex Commercial Litigation. Aaron graduated with an LLB in Law from the University of Nottingham and worked in Consulting prior to joining V&E.

Alexandria Shahade
Alex Shahade is a dual-qualified US Attorney and UK Solicitor. She works at Kingsley Napley as an Immigration Specialist. Having relied on BARBRI to prepare for and pass both the US Bar Exam and the UK SQE, she trusts the program wholeheartedly and is excited to support future students on their journey to success.

Azad Deewanee
Azad is a researcher focused on human rights, international law, and the legal system of England and Wales. His work spans Middle Eastern politics, U.S. policy, Kurdish studies, and climate change. With extensive regional experience, he brings strong analytical skills and cross-cultural communication to complex global and legal issues.

Barbara Valentini
Barbara is a Crown Prosecutor and a member of the BARBRI Student Committee. Having successfully completed the SQE with BARBRI, she stepped into her role as a prosecutor two years later. Barbara is also passionate about guiding aspiring solicitors and inspiring students from diverse and non-traditional backgrounds to pursue careers in law.

Charlie Moore
Charlie is an experienced paralegal with a strong background in regulatory law, compliance, and investigation. Trained at the FCA, with recent work at Kingsley Napley, Charlie champions diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and actively supports aspiring lawyers while working towards qualification as a solicitor.

Ellen Swarbrick
Ellen is an associate in the Transactions group and also represents BARBRI's student body as the Student Committee Chair. She has advisory and transactional experience in project development and finance, cross border M&A and general corporate work. Her industry experience includes energy transition matters involving renewable energy and low carbon infrastructure, as well as traditional oil and gas matters.

Harshit Bansal
Harshit is an Indian qualified lawyer who started his legal career with trial litigation in New Delhi and later moved in-house . He has experience in dispute resolution, arbitration, energy and environmental law and also banking operations. He is currently working as a Senior Collector and Negotiator at Nationwide Building Society in United Kingdom.

Nikita Sharakhovskiy
Nikita Sharakhovskiy is an international lawyer specialising in Intellectual Property, Technology, Privacy and Corporate Law. With cross-border experience across EMEA and the UK, he advises startups and tech companies on strategic legal matters. Currently pursuing his second legal qualification as a Solicitor-Advocate in England & Wales, he is IAPP CIPP/E and (ISC)² Certified in Cybersecurity.

Osama Jibril
Osama is a multilingual legal and compliance professional with over four years' experience advising financial institutions in the UAE, particularly under FSRA regulation. CAMS and ACIArb certified, he specialises in AML, regulatory compliance, and cross-border transactions, bringing a strong blend of legal insight and operational expertise across emerging financial sectors.
